Meet Jennifer Joseph

Jennifer completed her undergraduate degree in social work from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.  She then completed her Master’s degree in social work with a focus in mental health, from Indiana University, Indianapolis.

Clinical Experience

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been conducting therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and families for over ten years.  She has extensive experience providing therapy in various public, as well as private practice settings.  These settings include residential hospitals, community mental health centers, school, home based and private practice.
Therapeutic Approach

Jennifer believes in healing through the process of building relationships.  Human beings go through various stages and changes over the course of a lifetime; many of which can be difficult.  She believes in establishing a therapeutic, healing relationship with her clients for the purpose of personal and interpersonal growth.
Jennifer strives to provide quality, evidenced based, therapeutic services to assist individuals and families in the process of overcoming obstacles and accomplishing their goals. She greatly values the significance and importance of family relationships in her treatment.  The influence of family relationships is especially emphasized when working with young children.  Jennifer believes in providing support, encouragement, and education to assist clients in using their existing strengths to create positive change in their lives.
Jennifer has professional memberships with the National Association of Social Workers and the Association for Play Therapy.  She attends numerous training and workshops annually to continue building upon her skill set and knowledge base.

Jennifer utilizes a variety of treatment approaches including
