Meet Rachel
Rachel completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. She then completed her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Clinical Experience
Rachel is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the NCCPA. During her PA studies she experienced and have worked in various fields of medicine including Internal medicine and Obstetrics and practiced evidence-based medicine.
Rachel began her Physician Assistant career in Women’s Health, where she gained experience in working with women through postpartum depression and psychosis. She finds working in psychiatry to be the most rewarding and have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. In Psychiatry she has gained knowledge managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions including, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Bipolar and other Mood Disorders, and PTSD.
Clinical Approach
Rachel believes in a patient-centered compassionate care and approach to help educate and encourage her patients during their psychiatric care and mental health journey. She aims to create a safe and non-judgmental supportive environment with her patients by providing empathy and clinical support. Rachel manages treatment for each individual by utilizing various diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. She values the relationships she creates with her patients and is excited to work with them to achieve their mental health goals.
Rachel is a Hoosier, born and raised in Indianapolis, where she currently resides. When she is not working, she enjoys working out, running, and spending time with her friends and family.
